Surviving

So looking back at the years gone by,
how on earth did we survive.
Heartache and pain have been abundant over the last few years,
but so has joy.
Watching children grow, teachs us so much of what we really need to know.
Be honest and loyal,
respectful and true
be kind and caring in everything you do.
Be faithful, be soft
laugh a lot and be yourself.
Have unfaltering faith
and true love.
cling tight to family and friends.
Try be your best, try bring others smiles.
The biggest thing a child knows that somehow we forget,
is that in helping others and bringing them joy,
you find joy and peace above all freedom.
